for 7 years i have been finding stones in deep cuts in the willamette valley in oregon.the stones are both sculpted and painted,some are very complex,and layered with tonal variation ,like a double exposure ..the imagrey is mystifying ,complex and esoteric,suggesting that kennewick man was no loan explorer but a part of an socially,intellectually,spiritually and artistically advanced cultural whose archetypical imagrey suggests the acestors of the tuathe de danaan,the tutonic peoples,the creators of the vedas and all of the legend and lore of the ancient indo-europeans. i should be glad to direct any member to my yahoo photobucket by e mail ,where a few photos of this material are posted.happy holidays to all..tom (0) Comments posted about this in the forum |
