Yes! The days of yore have returned! (well, okay, I have returned that is)

I guess most of the regular saturday-night chatters have given up on me, but I am planning my comeback tonight.  [smiley=033102luf_1_prv.gif]

So, this is for everyone, but specially for the Canadians and Engaara..

Let me make this clear:

(me alone in the chat with the creature that roams there [smiley=smilie_help.gif] [smiley=elkgrin.gif]

Peter, I'd kill for a chat right now, (about three or four hours late I guess). I had a horrible day, and I need to discharge, what ever that is the correct english expression or not. Orstio, I see you, I need therapy, please log to the chat, I'll do it now. A fellow ES man in need, please help!

I don't know if it has to do with the server change or anything but there is something wrong with the chat room.
It has no slot in which to enter the password, and it claims invalid user name and password!

Yet, I remember I was able to get in the other day when the site was down...

No worries about dumping the chat.  I am looking at a way that the chat will automatically recognize your cookie from the board so that there will be no need to login, nor wonder if there is any impersonation.

The chat username and password is now integrated.  You may use your login details from the message board to login to the chat.  When you change your password here, it will also change there.

Send a PM to Orstio and let him know that you are having problems.

I encountered a problem like that a few weeks ago, and I basically had to exit E-S and log-off my internet connection.  There was an apparent conflict.  Also, do not hit the "Go-back" button on the IE/Netscape, that causes some problem with the Chat application.

Orstio can explain it much better than me.

If you can login here, you should have no problem using the auto-login for the chat.

Try clicking the link on the left of the page from here.

If it doesn't work, go here (http://www.everything-science.com/components/com_smf/), and see if you are logged in.  If not, login there, return to the homepage, and try again.

Are you sure? It takes awhile to start... what browser do you use? Might've something to do with Java functionality switched on or off (for security)
