Title: Nemmy's not so lame recipes... Post by: Nemisis two on February 16, 2002, 02:53:00 PM Yeah even the master of lame himself is an experimenter of cuisine.
This one is called Nems banana drink: 1 peeled banana 1/3 cup lemon juice 1 cup milk 1/2 sugar Cut banana up and throw all ingredients into a blender for about a minute, refridgerate till cold and drink makes one tall glass. Second is Nems chicken: 1 boneless skinless chicken breast 1/2 cup flour pinch of basil pinch of salt Tea spoon of chili peppor teaspoon of paprika Tea spoon of lemmon peppor teaspoon chicken boulion(powder) Wet chicken, then powder with flour by putting it in the flour and rubbing it with the flour. Put it in a pan that has a small portion of butter melted in it. Cook chicken until slight golding of chicken is appearent then add all other ingredients to chicken but make sure to cover both sides of chicken. Finish cooking chicken untill done and eat. I had to microwave the chicken when i first did that because i put flour on it while it was cooking. :D (http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ):D I hate using microwaves though, Title: Re: Nemmy's not so lame recipes... Post by: dingo15068 on February 26, 2002, 09:17:00 PM Sarah, Lemon pepper is not lemon grass and pepper, it is something else. It is a blend of the following spices:
black pepper lemon peel whole lemon garlic onion citric acid Title: Microwave... Post by: Nemisis two on February 27, 2002, 08:34:00 AM I only used the microwave because i put too much flour on the chicken.
I used a cheapo brand store bought lemon pepper. Glad you like the drink. ;) (http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif );) Title: Nemmy's not so lame recipes... Post by: Nemisis two on March 20, 2002, 09:32:00 PM Nem's fifteen bean chili.
A rather simple recipe: 1 package of fifteen bean soup 2 cans of tomato paste 1 table spoon of paprika 1 can of diced tomatoes 1 tablespoon of salt 2 cups of water 1 table spoon of parsley Directions: Mix the beans and water together and cook on high in crock pot for 8 hours then add rest of ingrediants, stir and let cook for thirty minutes to an hour and serve, one cup is one serving. Very good, i make it alot. Title: A.. Post by: Nemisis two on March 21, 2002, 09:45:00 PM Variation to this is to add small amounts of Gekken plum whiskey, manachevez and burbon.
Adding these give the chili a certain flavor that is worth adding. Also chili seasoning is what i forgot to say was in it, two tablespoons is needed. Title: Re: A.. Post by: dingo15068 on March 22, 2002, 08:41:00 AM Interesting recipy, I will need to make it, and have someone try it (I am not allowed to eat tomatoes personnelly)
Title: Tomatoes... Post by: Nemisis two on March 22, 2002, 10:58:00 PM Oh well, stomach problems with the acid?
Title: Re: Tomatoes... Post by: dingo15068 on March 24, 2002, 07:31:00 AM Allergic to the acid in tomatoes. I usually substitute hot peppers whenever possible for tomatoes. It makes my burritoes very dangerous. As my wife is from Indonesia, I should start posting some of her recipies for people to try.
Proceed to your nearest Asian Market, and look for products that say A-B-C. These are sauces and spices used in cooking indonesian dishes. Pick up the paste sauses (There are 4 of them, labeled A - D). Also pick up sweet Indonesian Soy sause, and a bottle of Kampur Lampi sause (looks kind of like catchup, but it is not, it is a pepper sause). You will also need a large supply of Coconut milk, both regular and thin. WANING: Though most indonesian dishes are a bit spicy, most are not hot. Those that are "hot", are extreamly hot and spicy. The suace jar marked "B" contains a paste that has pure capsian oil in it. 1 qt. milk, scalded and cooled 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 cake yeast 2 eggs, beaten 2 lbs. rasins and currants 6 apples, finely chopped Add sugar salt and yeast to milk and let stand until light. Add remaining ingredients. Add enough white flour to make a medium stiff sponge. Let rise until light. Drop from spoon and fry in deep fat. We used to eat these every christmas when I was little. YUM! Title: Oh... Post by: Nemisis two on March 26, 2002, 10:12:00 PM Here there are chinese/japanese and Thai restuarnts.
