Title: Chapter 7 ---- Negotiations with the Venusions
Post by: dingo15068 on October 18, 2001, 05:24:00 AM
Current situation:

After winning a major battle with Bozo forces in Sector SdC, F/S, cleaning up the battle area resulted in discovery of Bozo booby traps.  This resulted in the accidental destruction of 2 Borg cubes, and the contamination and subsequent breakaway of a 3rd cube.  As one of the destroyed cubes was AOB's home cube, it resulted in the second time he has been cut off from the collective.  To to quick responces from Fleet HQ, he was immediately transfered back to the Collective, and will be returned to us shortly.
During the preceding battle, the Venusion fleet joined up with combined WAN Fleets and assisted in the attack.  Negotiations are opening up for recruiting of the Venusions as possible allies with the WAN alliance, or even possibly joining our forces in tact.

Admiral PLC currently is away for conferances with Fleet HQ.

First Officer Yales has been tied up with developement of SWAT forces.

Fleet commanders Nemisis, and Labatt have been busy directing their respective fleets.  Labatt has been experencing technical difficulties in warping into sector SdC.  Possible new Bozo weapon utilized in this???

Ships merchant Nerd57, Laugi, and Termina are currently undergoing councilling to see if we can resolve the disagreements between all 3.  Hopefully we can and it will not effect supply lines.

Fleet operation issues:

Rogue Bozo-Borg cube on the loose.  Whereabouts unknown. Report any encounters to Borg Collective

Bozo forces have experenced a loss of one of the major fleets...expect counter attacks in sector SdC

Negotiations with the Venusions for combined operations/allies.  Need volenteers for negotiation team

Possible disruption of fleet supplies

I'd like to volunteer, just give me an outline of what were negotiating.

Lasershot comm link re-established, no berserkers have escaped from their sub-dimensional cage.
The Lasershot is docked at Starport Central getting it's comm-link fixed and re-designed.
Any orders?

Thank you for volenteering.

While the Lasershot is in Space Dock undergoing repairs, you can handle the negotiations.  Negotiate the following if possible.

1.  Would the Venusians like to join our collilition of species?
    a.  If so, as a seperate military unit, or as a member?
A:  If as a seperate military unit, what their needs
and requirements be, in docking facilities,
                    supplies and intellegence sharing.
B:  As a member, what desired rank and posting
    b. If not, would they like to be a collaberating contributor
to our cause of promoting solid science and distributing
        Bozo free information?
2.  What do the Venusians prefer to drink in their off times, so
we can have the Bar properly stocked for their species

Thanks Dingo, i doubt they'll enter ES though for some reason they won't. :( (http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/frown.gif ):(
I will negotiate with them at SDC.

'Accidental' destruction? It was anything but.

We have AOB reconnected to the hive mind, he seems to not be damaged. We are adapting him to be better prepared to be sent back: we installed a permanant energy weapon, modified his personal shielding, added more failsafes to prevent his disconnecting again, and added more secondary protocols to prevent individualism if he does get separated. We expect to be done soon.

Rules for engagement with the Bozo-Borg are as follows:

1. Do not be detected by them, at all costs. We do not know what they would try to do, armed with a Borg cube.

2. If possible without breaking rule 1, place your tracking devices.

3. If you are detected, do not allow yourselves to be captured. We do not wish the Bozo-Borg destroyed, but if required, do it. We would rather capture them. If you cannot destroy them, and will be captured, we recommend self-destruct.

4. Inform us of any incidents and/or information you may have immediately.

Title: Re: No
Post by: dingo15068 on October 19, 2001, 04:55:00 AM
I understand Borg Collective.  Only fleet operations that can be directed to the colletive are those actions which the Borg have agreed to joint venture with the WAN fleet.  If the suspect "Bozo War Tent" turns out to be your rogue cube, we will inform you so that the Collective may take what actions it has in mind.
We do not know the nature of the intersepted communicades, be it one of our members having been corrupted, a new and unknown Bozo force, or something else.  All we know is that from our exploration ship ISS Slader information about the disappearence of stars has been reported, along with vague communications

wilco Borg Collective......Nemisis, upon arrive send out long range scanning probes.  Remain clocked.......Be informed the area you are arriving in is hostile.  Our missing tracer probe on a possible Bozo merchant has been detected in the general vicinity of the broadcasts.  How soon will the ISS Lasershot be able to regain engines??  Will we need to dispatch a tow??

"Mmmm..." booms the intercom system. "How do Hayu mahn's react to cyanide? How about some carbon? Hmmm, this life support mechanism has so many functions..."

A lonely red-shirted crew memeber, walking the decks alone, dreams about life back on his home planet. He missed his family, his wife, his children. He wondered what they were-
A huge blast of fire flames from the air vent directly beneath him. Englufed in the volatile chemical reaction, he runs around the deck, screaming, screaming as loud as he can.
His shirt protecting his chest, his face burns with the intensity of a bond fire. He runs about for several minutes, before collapsing, his face an ashen remenant of his fear.

The survallence camera watching all this places the file for the fire in Dingo's Personal Movies folder.

Initiate file trace...........file trace completed.......Space sector 57,57,57,57,57,57......Initiate countermeasures....Countermeasures activated.....1000 gigawatt signal strikes returns down the communications signals recieved, overloading Hayu Mahn's transmitter, and overloading Hayu Mahn.  Force reintergration of Nerd57.  Overloading bozo viruses.  Several dark clouds in the vacinity near Hayu Mahn instantly collapes and form 1000's of new stars illuminating the entity with cleaning light and enlightenment.

It is not nice to send movies of fried crew to the Ambassator of Sirius, and head of power generation from it's star

Admiral,
While you were away, we ran into a major battle with a rogue Bozo fleet in Sector SdC, commanded by a Bozo called Bulletproof.  This resulted in a scrambling of the enite fleet, with watch officer's in charge.
A combined multifleet battle then took place.  We were able to catch the bozo fleet in an ambush before they had time to react.  With the Borg collective being the primary anvel, with the WAN fleets being the hammer, forcing the bozo fleet to withdrawl into a sphereical defensive posture.  We were able to sucessfully deploy one of my "special" super rito's (the one I used on my self-destruct features of my old oersonal jig) destoying the bozo fleet for the most part in it's entirety.  Our losses were relatively light to that point, it is during the mop up afterwords that we have experenced major casualties.
The mop up the Borg Collective recovered debree from the battlefield.  2 completely undetonated bozo "rito's", along with 2 storage containers of Bozo capsium oil.  The also with a third cube captured bozo forces.  All were apparently booby trapped, resulting in the distruction of 2 Borg cubes, and the apparent defection of a 3rd cube to the Bozo forces.
The explosion of the special rito, now has apparently opened a diamentional gateway between normal space and Sector H E double L. resulting with the personality of a charactor calling itself "Stan" taking over the body of Nerd57.  We are attempting to "exorsize" this being from Merd57, as it is using the knowledge that Nerd57 has with fleet secutity protocals, and fleet communications.  This has resulted in this enity in causing the engines of the ISS Lasershot to initiate self destruct protocals, which we were able to stop in time, but with sever damage to the engines.  This enity has also utilized the communication equipment to fry a crewmember to ashes, and the vidio was directed specificly to me.  I have implimented all anti-bozo protocals on all ships in the WAN.  And have dispatched fleet elements to locate the gateway, and also to possibly locate the rogue Borg cube.  I have also been in contact with the president of the Siriun Power company, and uzilized it's services to block the gateway from other entities invading.
During the course of these events we have been in contact with a race calling itself the Venusians, lead by an adapt comander by the name of VenusDayStar in sector SdC, and have WAN diplomatic representitives enter into negotiations for that force to join us as a member race or as cooperative partnership similar to the Borg Collective partnership.
I know this exceeds my authority, but I was the duty commander at the time.  I return the fleet back to you Admiral.

We had somehow missed the sector H E double L opening, that is why we did not understand what was going on.

Have your scouts reached the unidentified ship yet? Any information about it?

Title: Re: Now it makes sense
Post by: dingo15068 on October 20, 2001, 11:32:00 AM
Our scouts are arriving in the general area as we speak....remote sensors have been dispatched.  They have located the gateway, and it is currently surrounded by a planetary nebule of a bright glowing energy field light.  They report an unusual interference on communication frequencies...they report it sounds like singing...with music along the lines of "Angelical".  They report several ships of unknown type at this time, but detected energy emmisions within the containment?? field of at least one ISS type.  One Borg type, several of Bozo type, and a few other types of unknown origion at this point.  Heavy interference with data relayed by the probes, as well as interference along communications.  As soon as the Alentra arrives on station, we should have better intellegence, as they have better sensors

Title: Re: Now it makes sense
Post by: The Borg Collective on October 20, 2001, 12:08:00 PM
Borg energy signatures? Our ships stand ready to arrive on the site via transwarp, awaiting your approval. If a battle situation occurs, we will expect your support.

Title: Re: Now it makes sense
Post by: dingo15068 on October 20, 2001, 01:33:00 PM
Roger Borg Collective, will notify you if signature is correct.  Communication with the probes is deteriating....reports from Sirius indicate that power usage for maintaining the containment field is at 40% and slowly growing.  They indicate that they will be able to bring reserve power generators online within hours.  If nessisary will utilize special power reserves crrently being delivered to Sector California.  Labatt, what is your ETA on arrival on station??  We need to have a beacon placed so we can start transwarping additional units, due to the warping of the area caused by the containment field, we do not need ships arriving on the wrong side of the barrier at this time

Title: Fleet report...
Post by: Nemisis two on October 20, 2001, 01:43:00 PM
Labatt, you command the entire fleet of the WAN IV i only have the Berserker asteroid fleet and three minion fighter wings.
As for their casualties, whatever they lose they'll replace quickly as their constantly building more of themselves.

Lasershot engines restored to operative capability, what are your orders?

Several bozos are in the vicinity of SDC, light skirmishes between Wan forces and the local time-lords' forces against the bozos have occured but the bozos are still their.

Understood Nemisis, and ofcoarse Alantra is the head Command ship of my fleet.  Dingo sorry i could not contact you earlier but there were many bozo war ships and scouts so I could not risk the chance of them picking up our com censors.  I have established a secure line.  We have reached the station.  It seems to have docked hundreds maybe thousands of ships which were injured durring the battle.  I am running full scans.  They are working around the clock to restore there weapons and shields.  As far as I can see they are week, and fragile.  What do you propose we should do as of now Admiral.  Dingo any suggestions?

And dare you be so arrogant to sugest your technology created the hole between Universes? These "Ritos" you speak of are no where near as powerful as needed to open a hole between Universes. Though, I bet they'd do some damage if they exploded right now if your hull... Hmmmmm"

Suddenly the launch bay goes completly offline. It is inaccesible by the system channels, and life support is gone from the room.

*Intercepting the last communication, the Borg cube on patrol in the area launches its sphere. The sphere quickly warps to the WAN, breaks through the launch bay barriers, and transports the armed ritos to their ship. The sphere then opens a transwarp conduit, and disappears from the area, seconds before the ritos detonate, closing down three light years of the conduit.*

"I'm not even the right species for this," says the Dracone.
The last humanoid is busy examining itself. Suddenly the first two realize that their clothes were not transported, and the first humanoid ducks behind a shielding. The Dracone stands around and says, "Hey, you're not wearing anything."
"Mmm I never have! Why start now? Hey! what are these things?"
"Sorry, not going into that, this is a public forum."

Schvunza growls the only growl he can, and 3 star systems collapse.
"How dare you invert time upon me! I'm finished playing! this Universe ends NOW!"
Three huge masses appear on the Sladar, with more gravity than all the largest black holes known combined, each. They begin spinning, and a huge electromagnetic beam spreads from one to the other. The WAN III is doused in this beam, and although it doesn't have any major effects, several systems short out.
The masses begin to rotate, moving against the average axis of the galaxies in the Universe. They move at impossible speeds, faster than could be possible for things of their mass. In the center, a huge energy begins building. It begins as a small sphere, and slowly expands.
On the WAN III, the most hellish face imaginable appears on the main viewer, contourted and disfigured, misaligned fangs and pointy ears. With deep red eyes, the face stares into Dingo. He is inexplicably drawn towards the face. He comes closer to the screen, closer, closer, until he is only a few inches from touching it with his nose.
Suddenly he spins about and fires at a random red-shirted member of the bridge crew. In spasmodic fits resembling epilepsy, he flings himself to the ground, and goes unconscious.
The face, with its blood red eyes and gnarly fangs and disgusting skin, laughs, "And so to all your creations, Matt, you poor excuse for a father! Death to you! Oblivion at its greatest! I will not rest until all of your image is erased from the Universes, even if it leaves the Tiklka empty!"

Title: Enter: Super Cruiser
Post by: nerd57 Laugi on October 20, 2001, 09:07:00 PM
A huge rift opens next to the WAN III, the rift at least a few dozen kilometers in diamter. Out from it pours thousands, ten thousands, hundred thousands of small, quick fighters. Slowly a huge super-cruiser enters, already its egg energy spheres charged and firing, smashing into the WAN III's hull. Dozens of spheres fire in tandem, some caught by the touch shields of the WAN III, other blasting through so that they cut through the decks.
"DIE my siblings, so that I may kill my father! Die for me! Die for me!"

"If you people even get an inkling of the thought that we would not like some clothes, I will HELP Schvundza! I'm FREEZING!" yells one of the humanoids, now plainly male in the new light.
"So this is what cold feels like! It feels kinda wierd, rather painful sometimes. Is heat painful?" asks the female humanoid.
"Everything is painful at the extremes. Try to stay at a temperature you prefer. Clothes help, but some spieces don't need clothes. Like Dracones," says the Dracone.
The female humanoid runs her fingers over the ground, noticing the rough touch of the stone floor, and the smooth fluidity of the water in a pedestal of holy water. Walking over to the Dracone, she runs her fingers over his face.
"Its sharp, its covered in sharp things. Scales? They feel kind of leathery."
"Do you know what leather feels like?" asks the Dracone.
The humanoid blushes, "No, but I remember reading about it in the data banks. I can't find the data banks now. Where are they?"
"I don't know. I hope we get the ship back."
"We better, they cost a lot," the male humanoid said. "I'm tired. Are you two tired?"
The others shake their heads. "Fine. I'll sleep on the granite."

The dark sphere expands, swallowing star systems 10 at a time. Its growth accelerates, and more systems are sucked in. The spinning masses rotate faster and faster, breaking both light and warp barriers. It is obvious they are being propelled by something not known to the WAN fleet.

Meanwhile, the super-cruiser is still attacking the WAN, but has taken a few hits from the friendly fire of its fighters. More egg energy is fired from the spheres, and the WAN is suddenly cut from a power source. All systems blink out for nearly 30 seconds, gravity, life support, toilets. When the systems reactivate, things fall to the ground, people breath easily again, and toilets explode.
On the deck the face is still staring coldly, from crew member to crew member, watching them, like a tiger watching its prey. A snake before the strike. The calm before the-
"DIE!"
All the sphere's begin to move into aim for the WAN. There is an estimated charging time of 12 hours for a blast powerful enough to obliterate the WAN and its constituent atoms.

Calling upon the the memory of those who have gone before, Dingo activates his most devious weapon his mind calls forth from his mind and sends the order down into the kitchen.  The kitchen staff screams in panic as they activate the equipment, then dive out of the area.  The equipment glows in protest, as the special device is made.  The automatc delivery system loads up one of the tubes with the weapon, aim is taken and it is fired at the super cruiser.  The weapon streaks towards the cruiser, expanding in size and takes on a different shape.  As it passes the thousands of fighters inbound into the WAN, it catches them and drags them along.  The weapon strikes the Super cruiser, and smothers it....It is a "Intropy Custard Cream Pie"  The cruiser instantly undergoes a metamorphisis.  All of it's crew and the ship itself, ages 10 to the 98th power years, becoming residue degenative mass where no energy can form.  The screams of the being Stan are heard throughout all the ships, as the being understands what happened, as he fades away into nothingness, his schemes and plans are of not, for his last thought is that he can not do anything about this device, for it would violate his own existance, for nothing can violate or reverse intropy.  Dingo collapses onto the ground, his crys of sorrow are heard around by the crew....I have violated my races oath never to build this device.  I am unworthy of representing the Siriun power company.  I will never be able to romp around the silver field of dogwood ever again, never be able to mark one's home tree with my scent.  I will forever be banished from my home, to return is a sentence worst than death, to be banished forever to the treeless lands of Catselvania

"Dude, that was not cool. Turning my ship into molten bits of quarks just is not cool. I'll just have the ones from AES and SDC come over to both strike at you. You're going to die little Dingo. I'm already trillions of cycles older than you can possibly fathom, I really don't mind entropy anymore."

The dark sphere grows larger, galaxies are absorbed at a time, billions of stars, trillions of worlds.

"Hmmm where is Sirius on the star map? Any one else want to blurt out home systems?"

Yes, Stan I am aware that blowing up that crusier was a bit mean, but I have to protect the WAN III.  I would rather die than to face the wraith our our dear admiral, let alone have to deal with the first officer Yales, your older brother Stan.  This is the flagship of those 2 illustious entities, and I do not think either one of us want to get either of them mad.  Remimber the last time Stan, you crossed into this diemension, Yales got a bit upset, and he imprisioned you into the diemension you were at, without even exerting himself, he still is around, and it is hard to keep him fed.
As for me, killing me would be a blessing.  You do not have to face the wraith of the president of the Sirius power company.  I do, I have ran up a huge power bill trying to keep your minions at bay, until which time our admiral came back, and that bill will come out of my poor hide.  You have been into the mind of Nerd57, so you must have searched his memories, and relized that even he does not want to have to deal with the Siriun collection agency, for once on your scent, they will hound you to the ends of the universe to collect each and every penny owed, plus cost.
I have a better suggestion Stan, you want a diemension, where you can really exert your influence, without the cost of maintaining all of those ships and crews, which even though you have absolute control over your realm, it still costs lots of funds to run it.  You know buracroises, they are the bane of the universes.  Would you like the address of the universe you can easily take over and control, and have all the power destoying them, for the races their are so plorific, that even you would be challanged.  Us here in ES should not even be worthy of your notice.  Can we make a deal??

"Allow me to once again itterate, I've never been here before. If I had ever been here and left, you'd all be dead. Oh, and in a few more minutes, there won't be a Sirius left to be afraid of."

A massive disruption on the WAN's Sladar appears in the Siriun sector. Within seconds, the star has dissappeared, along with several other planets in the governments empire.

"Mmmm... Rito recipes... but they're so weak, I'll need to update them. Have fun! Oh, and for you blasted Borg..."

A computer virus enters one of the Borg Cubes, sending it off course and ramming into another part of the fleet. Several other Cubes are infected, and begin to veer completly off course.

Meanwhile, the dark sphere expands and more matter is sucked in. Schvunza laughs lightly at that. "Soon you'll all be dead, and I will have moved on. You've been much fun for me. Have a nice end of the Universe."

Meanwhile, in the chapel:
"GET US SOME CLOOOOOOOTHES!"
"Hey Nerd, what's that?"
"WHOA! Bad touch Termina!"

Nope, have that under control....here we go, institute matter/energy absorbtion, lets suck this growing sphere dry...Intitute time/phase displayment on all WAN/Borg and independant races.  Shift complete......  The sphere can gobble up all of what is left, all they will be able to destroy are Bozo's.....  this gives us some time.  Nerd57, Laugi, Termina report immedately to the bridge.  You three know the nature of this entity, and how to stop it.  It will take it some time to discover how we did thatAOB be prepared...just sent that very special code on all frequency broadcast...causing all disconnected Borg vessels, and all disconnected Borg from the collective, to do a full shutdown, core dump, reload from backups and reboot, and reconnect to the Collective.  That will take care of that independance virus, as all backups are kept in seperate and isolated from main systems in case of possible viruses

COPY MARK!! Executing maneuver Alpha-Omega Seven now!

{The twin fighters smoothly intertwine courses around the rift, leaving behind a scintillating, unbreakable thread of hyper-relativistic energy. As they weave and loop, it can be seen that a kind of "stitching" of the fabric of spacetime is being performed, a re-weaving of the material of the universe, drawing the hole into H-E-double-L closed rapidly. Soon the rift will be sealed, and the entity trapped in the interdimensional void.}

Almost done, K! In 3...2...1...NOW!

{The ships perform a deft, dangerous maneuver, looping about each other in a tight formation at warp. It can be seen that the energy thread binds into itself, collapsing into a cosmic string that shrinks at super-relativistic velocity, as the fighters streak away. The supermassive black holes are immediately sucked into the cosmic loop, and a temporal shock wave radiates out from the center of the rapidly contracting loop. In nanoseconds, the rift is gone, sealed solidly, as the mass of the black holes fuses into the cosmic string, reinforcing its structure. A wail of shocked defeat echoes briefly over the comm, as the fighters warp back to the WAN III.}

We did it, K! Dingo! Do you copy? How is the Fleet? How is the Collective?

Admiral,
The fleet is severly damaged.  The ISS Lasershot is crippled, along with most of the WAN IV Fleet.  The ISS Alentea is about the only undamaged ship we have left.  The WAN III is at 20 percent capsity.  The Borg fleet is in almost the same shape.  I do not know if the all frequencies broadcast of the Borg system reintergation and reload of from backup worked.  Even though the entity destroyed one of our main power generation suns at Sirius, it is able to maintain capacity at 70 %.  Unknown damage in this sector to stars, planets, races.  As this is on the edge of our sector and the Bozo's.  MIB diplomatic corp??

"Ask them to send food too, Nerd. I'm starved," Laugi says. He is wearing nothing as usual, except for a peculiar tattoo on his right wing. It is his personal emblem.
"Sure," says Nerd, "Hey! Send down some food to! And a way out! I need to get back to my bussiness and I'd like to know what the heck is going on up there with Schvundza!"
"He's a sleep," Termina says, still daydreaming about food.

"Well, when I was created, I was a ship and Matt had a very strong connection to the Dracone. Maybe he wanted me to have both?"

We have salvaged most of the damaged vessels. Now all that is needed is to track down the rogue cubes. It may interest you to know that Aaron was on one of them.

Borg Collective, as soon as your cubes are repaired, do you have room on one of them for a refuge of the Siriun Power Collection agency.

Nerd57, Laugi, Termina (over the communicator) Glad to see you three about.  Ummm question, if we stop the energy drain on the entity, will to go amuck again, and could you help the Admiral with a bit of a problem over in the bar

"Uhh Termina, you answer."
"Hmmm Well, it seems that Schvundza has subsided into the Zero Point energy, and the normal background energy of the Universe. The zero point energy is far too low, as it keeps becoming zero, and the background energy of the universe is next to nil. I suppose we're lucky Matt only gave us so much back ground energy."
"Get on with it Termy!"
"Ohh alright. Really the only thing that could awaken Schvundza is if a huge amount of energy erupted near his source of entry. So, I'm guessing as long as we don't Rito blast the sog out of Coords 57-!, then we'll be just fine."
"Heard that? Oh, and I'd love to help the admiral, just point out the correct comm-channel (thread for all those non-RPG people)"
"My tail hurts!"
"Suck it up!"

Not every cube was damaged in the attack, there is one in the vicinity now, if you would like to board it, you are welcome. It lacks what you would consider quarters, food halls, etc, but send us your needs and we will adapt a section for your use.

What are the weapons, fleet, etc., of the Siriun Power Collection agency? If we have to engage them, we need to be prepared.

*Through the subspace static, a faint message is picked up by the WAN's communication devices:*

This...is Aaron of Borg....cube has been destroyed....floating in space...shielding failing....life support failing....message not sent to collective, cannot make contact.....request immediate assistance....coordinates are as follows....45&%$@#(= (static).

*The message is logged, and shuffled into the communications logs, unnoticed, and since the crew is distracted at the moment with the damaged ship in their hold, no one checks the logs....*

"FOOOOOOOOOOD!"
"Settle the sog down, Termy!" Laugi cries out above the anxious screaming of Termina.
"I can't help it! I can't wait! I want to feel it on my tongue! And my TAIL HURTS LIKE SOG!"
"Language Termy," Laugi scolds.
"Sorry," Termina replies.
"Its alright. Anyway, you'll have to wait. Its not lunch time and the replicators aren't working. I guess the energy is going to the repair of the ship," Nerd explains.
"Awwwww, suck!"
"I know. But lunch time will come soon enough, and then we'll FEAST!"
"Hurray!" they all cheer, as if they were small children.

(quietly over the communicator to Nerd57, Laugi, and Termina)

I bet you are a bit hungry, replicators will be online in a few minutes.  As I can not go around the ship, and have to keep hiding and moving, I have noticed through the monitor something.  Termina, why do you have your pants on backwards????  Where is your tail, the pants were made with a hole for your tail.

Borg Collective:  I hope I will be able to board one of your cubes soon.  But you have other problems to face.  We have heard from AOB.... as best we can tell he is in sector 48, communications were very faint, and normal communications staff failed to note it, but the automatic notification software picked it up, and forwarded to me....I suggest you read what was recieved, and give us a head's up if we can help find him.

Ummm my requirements aboard your ship.  Just a small kitchenette, A place for my fire plug, and a medium size doghouse.

As for the collection agency.....their weapons and shielding are state of the art, you would be surprised of what people will do to try and get out from paying their electric bills.  They will not attack, only defend themselves as nessisary, for in their minds you can not collect from a dead race.  They will just hound someone until they pay up, or in special cases where they are collecting an individual, they will send out their best collector, My big brother Cerberus, and from what I smelled, and noted, that is who they have sent to collect me (sigh)  At least I understand how he thinks, and can confuse the trail somewhat.

(Seeing most of the hull damage is being repaired by WAN crew, the berserker spider-bots detach from the WAN III's hull and speed back to the only asteroid ship remaining via small energy flux jets)
Admiral, I have reprogrammed a substansial amount of Berserker to make safe for entry back into a populated dimension. I bring a gift for the WAN III, it's a asteroid ship equiped with a Berserker warrior factory and repair-bot factory. They may have some glitches as they are pretty empty when it comes to knowledge of protocol but they should work good enough.

"Oh alright," Termina says, and promptly begins taking them off.
Nerd, who was getting some food from the replicators, begins to walk back towards the other beings. Seeing Termina, he drops his food on the ground, and turns away quickly. "GET BEHIND SOMETHING, SOG IT!"
"Nerd! Language!"

Admiral, Dingo this is General Labatt.  This is my second report on my mission.  I tried to contact you earlier but could not establish a connection.  I have been observing the station for quite some while and my report is be prepared.  The Boz's have created a primary defence shield and are looking for W.A.N. Vessals, mainly cloaked ones.  Not to worry I am sure that the state of the art cloaking systems which are in Alanatra will be sufficiant.  It seems that the Bozo's have repaired hundreds of ships and may be gathering for an attack.   I suggest we try to get all fleets back to normal, for The Alantra and it's invasion force are the only ones operational at this time.  P.S am using name as decoy.

Insomnia to Wan Fleet HQ........

We have AOB onboard and are standing by to transport him. Please reply with the specific ship and coordinates you wish us to set for.

We have contacted The Borg Collective. They did assist us in identifying AOB so that we could retrieve him. We have not heard from them since then.

AOB did not show any signs of life when we arrived in Sector 48. We estimated that only a few minutes had passed, so we were able to revive him.

Being that he is Borg, there could be an interesting side effect to our process. We have never revived a Borg before. We are not certain of this possibility, but my Science Officer, Promobob, suggests that it could give AOB an improved self-awareness.

I stress that we are not certain. There may be no effect at all. We felt at the time, we had no choice but to revive AOB.

Once we have AOB where he needs to be, our misson will take us to SDC. We are going to make a bozo-bait run through the sytem. Specifically, we would like to draw out the one called Bulletproof.

The Insomnia is also seeking diplomatic relations with The Venusions. As our ally in webspace, The Wan Fleet will be consulted prior to any new alliance between Insomnia and other groups. We will not put at risk, our bond.

We will assume that your demand is a request for information on our resuce effort. Gladly.

As I stated earlier, when we arrived at Sector 48, Aaronofborg had expired. We have a device that, in some cases, can restore life. We made no actual dissconnects of any systems. If our process somehow managed to effect any internal connections, it was unententional.
We have never revived a Borg before, but felt we had no choice at the time.

Does that satisfy your "request" for information?

We are running some tests now. We should have the results shortly. It our theory is correct, it may be possible to reverse several key elements of our process and reverse the effect. We will have to be cautious. If we reverse it to far, he will be as dead as we found him.

We will need to transport him back to Insomnia for the attempt. See if you can locate him, while we finish our work here. When you do, give us his coordinates and we will transport him.

Have been monitoring situation with AOB, some questions need to be addressed:

1.  Has AOB been consuming normal rations from WAN III??
If so, contact Borg Collective with answer for forwarding on to me, I might have a solution, that will be somewhat risky for myself.
2.  Just before AOB went into override and awareness inhancement override, did the Insomnia detect any external communication annomalties??
3.  Has Cerberus departed or is he still aboard the WAN III??

Darn, I was hope he did, for I could possibly trace him from the very rare elements associated with our rations.  I started adding them in order that in case of one of our crew being captured by the BIC, we could trace them back to their HQ and arrange a rescue

Title: Re: Return...
Post by: LonMc on October 29, 2001, 09:56:00 AM
(Insomnia replying to Dingo's question via long range hail from SDC:)

No. We detected no scan or communications at anytime before, during, or after Aaronofborg's time on Insomnia.

Our transporter logs were programmed to self-destruct, right after AOB left the ship. So we are unable to track his destination. He's very intelligent. This capability of independent, self-preservation thought, is a direct result of the self-awareness boost that he was able to absorb during our revival processes.

Simply put, Aaronofborg is now more human than Borg. We are concerned that he will not know how to deal with his new found "freedom", and the range of emotions that he will now experience.

One final point: Since this is the first Borg that has undergone the revival procedure, we do not know if it's effects are permanent or temporary. Obvioulsy, time will tell.

Sorry we could not be of more help here.

Now returning to mission.........Insomina, out.

Borg Collective,
Would partial intergration into the collective by myself, help with interfacing with the WAN system until which time we are able to locate AOB, and if so is the process reversable??  Concidering that until current resolution of crisis reguarding my status on my home world is resolved, I am concidered a fugative by the government there, and in accordance with current treaties with the WAN and the Siriun Power Company, they are under obligation to turn me over, including the MIB.  As the collective is "Not" a signer of those treaties, I am requesting "politcal aslym"

Title: dingo
Post by: The Borg Collective on October 29, 2001, 02:17:00 PM
What exactly are you proposing? Interfacing with the WAN, through the collective, to do what? How would you trace Aaron from that? Reversial would be simply disconnecting you from the collective, as has happened to Aaron three times.

Title: Re: dingo
Post by: dingo15068 on October 29, 2001, 03:27:00 PM
Proposing that the Borg collective use my poor self as your interface between the Borg, and the WAN, in light of the absence of AOB.  As the WAN monitors other sectors from the Borg, it would provide the Borg with direct links to the WAN intellegence and sensor arrays, as well as complete access to my weapons recipies, so that the Borg is able to intergrate countermeasures.  If AOB has gone rogue on us, he had access to both WAN technologies, as well as Borg technologies, so both of our forces security measures now have been breached.  Our only hope in tracing him quickly, is if he has gone completely human, then on a very remote possibility, he has consumed WAN rations, even though his system does not need it.  If that very remote possibility has occured, I will need access to the WAN's sensors, and my recipies, to possibly trace him, and the only way I can set foot on WAN property, without fear of arrest, is to have Borg credentuals, with only comes with assimulation

You would become our ambassador, in Aaron's place? Interesting proposal. We have never assimilated a non-humanoid lifeform before, we will investigate the possibility.

Any luck finding analomous energy readings that could be Aaron recharging?

Title: Re: dingo
Post by: dingo15068 on October 29, 2001, 08:43:00 PM
I have been accessing the WAN computer sensor banks as best I can, their is very slight abnormal readings, that come and go, but pinpointing a location has been very difficult from this distance, as the location keeps jumping area to area, like someone searching..The abnormality readings are indeterminate in origan, we could be recording a ghost, could be AOB, or could be highly cloaked ships...we do not know.
As for assimulation, and becoming your ambassator, be interesting in attempting the processes, it will be very dangerous, as our bodies normally reject non-organic enhancements, with very rare exceptions like my brother Cerberus.  I somehow survived having nano-bots infesting my body, so my body might not reject the implants.
Labatt has been monitoring the growing Bozo fleet buildup

Just wanted to let y'all know that I'm around. Spent the weekend in a last-of-the-season attempt to get my polo handicap upped for next year (freezing my poor little tailfeathers off in the process), and nearly took a bad tumble on the field. Fortunately my dear little steed saved me, but I am pretty banged up. Will try to log on in the next couple of days and participate more fully.

Meanwhile, I leave you in good hands in Captain Yale and Emperor Orstio.

Peter, please meet me in sickbay. And bring an electric lemonade with you.....

What level of assimilation are you talking about? We could just assimilate you enough to connect you to the hive mind, not adding all the implants and subroutines.

Level of assimulation.  Good question, just connecting my mind to the hive will not be enough, we would need to be able to interface the WAN systems with the Collectives (hardware interface) so the Collective will be able to access raw data, unfiltered through my mind.  The Collective normally does not store perishable rations aboard the cubes, but I do know that the collective has been able to supply those needs, Thank the collective for making those arrangements aboard this cube.  I will possibly be interfacing with members of the Borg, who have been "tainted and broken contact with the primary hive" by outside means.  These sub-hives might still recall their previous connections with the primary, and still be working with WAN forces, so I will need as your representative be able to interface the contact between these forces and primary hive, to return them to the collective.  Finally, if we do locate AOB, we will need to be able to overcome his "resistance" to reintergration into the Collective.  He has full Borg agmentation.  If it came down to a physical confrontation, I would be sorely put to overcome his personal defenses, and transport capibilites, without having aguementation (shuddering), and could possibly have to resort to utilizing special high powered weapondry, at the cost of massive damage of the vessal or planet a hostile encounter would provoke.  Please remimber, that I have created weapons of unusually high destructive capibilities, that even the Borg have been hard pressed to survive intact.  The Collective will have full access to that information.  (When you are a race who's primary function in life is the generation of power to other solar systems, you work with very dangerous processes of Solar fusion)

It sounds as if you are requesting full assimilation. That would remove your personality, which would not let you remember your purpose of being assimilated.

-NO- hostile use of force is permissible in OrstioSpace under any circumstances.

If AOB has decided to seek asylum, his protection is absolute and inviolable.

WAN III is protected by the full and unlimited power of the Emperor (who controls the very nature of local reality)

Any disagreements MUST be taken beyond the frontier into BozoSpace.

(Long distant communicade to Yales)  Captain Yales, no hostilites on the WAN III....acknowledged.  There is no conflicts currently ongoing within our territory.... Current battle situations are not within this sector, and all battles currently under discussion and planning will be in Bozo sectors of space.  Possible next set of encounters for battle will be in sector TFTF, as noted within the Bozo Observation Bay
Currently there are no disagreements between members.  AOB whereabouts are unknown, the Collective is seeking to locate him.

Borg Collective, is there a way to do a partial assimulation, with augmentation??  Do not want to lose identity.

This is Supreme General Labatt reporting.  I have fatal news, I am dying!  Of Boredom!   I know, I know dont complain but its hard being an observer when you are usualy in the middle of the battle.  Oh yea half of the attack positioned ships have gone to warp.  I think they will be scouting and perhaps just giving you guys some minor trouble.

SGL out.

Title: WAN IV...
Post by: Nemisis two on October 31, 2001, 06:55:00 AM
Is there still a need for a WAN vessel in SDC space?
I think there starting to not like our presence there so i was wondering if the WAN IV was to return to ES.

Post by: dingo15068 on October 31, 2001, 07:10:00 AM
Supreme Commander Nemisis two,  Redirect the WAN IV fleet from Sector SdC to sector TFTF (See Bozospace Observation Desck for briefing on that sector).  Be prepared for that sector, as it is extreamly hostile. Leave a monitoring probe in Sector SdC.
General Labatt, intellegence indicates that large Bozo fleet you have been monitoring, have been directed to Sector TFTF in support of Bozo operations in that sector, and are not directed at Sector ES.  Commence operations on that Bozo fleet's supply lines.
SWAT forces have been monitoring the situation in Sector TFTF, and report that we can expect heavy opposition

Our research shows that your idea will be possible. We will do to you what the crew of Voyager did when they got assimilated, keeping your mind seperate from the collecive, but still able to access it's information. Your body would be fully assimilated. Inform us when you are ready for the procedure.

Borg Collective, begin assimulation...
Nemisis...I will look into locating another warp point into Sector TFTF.  It appears the Bozo's have closed previous access.  We do have 3 additional sectors that also contain large number of Bozo's forces within the briefings.  Those warp points are currently active, and unpatrolled.  Weapons are hot in those sectors, but the Bozo forces there are very heavily armed.  Recommend hit and run tactics

*Two Borg drones enter dingo's makeshift quarters aboard their cube. They take him by the arms and lead him the maze of their ship, full of randomly flashing lights, creating the effect of a very disorienting strobe. They take him into the assimilation chamber and place him onto a metal table. They speak, in unison:*

Assimilation is a painful process. Due to our alliance, we will allow you to not feel it.

*As they speak, a long needle nears dingo from his side, unseen by him. It injects him with an anesthesia, and everything goes dark...*

(Nemisis2 typing at cyborg atainable only speeds untill he finds access gates to several other bozo boards but not to TFTF, activates several robotic ships and proceeds to head toward them)
I can access the links given by Needlesslover to the other boards Dingo, but not the ones to TFTF.
Maybe you should type it.

Dingo with your permission I would like to deploy the phoenix wing into TFTF with the WAN4. We would remain cloaked unless we are needed of the safety of the WAN4 is suspect. The wing could be valuable scouts for Commander Nemisis and would be able to take out some of the smaller ships if required.

Collective, we feel strange and alive...we share much information..this unit has accepted the assimulation...our insite in to the unsual power of the "Rito" devices, will greatly enhance our power generation...our hive is much stronger, and will be able to withstand all attempts to be fracture by the Bozo's.  Our access to the WAN collective's information is being disemulated now to the rest of the hive.  Our missing members, our mislayed units have been located in the heart of Bozo lands.  We have insite into the command structure of the BIC, the extent in which they have infultrated and spread disinformation to many unknown worlds...We have much to assimulate

Title: Alantra in Battle.......
Post by: Original Labatt on November 01, 2001, 06:52:00 PM
(After Alantra gets out of cloak mode, General Labatt deploys all fighters and engadges the Fleet)  Lieutenant how man ships are still out there?  ( After that Alantra makes a move and go's under and over bozo command ships and fires its priliminary weapons. " Ha ha sweet."   Three ships are destroyed.  " Fighters use all force and destroy everything in your path"

Your brain activity is rising above tolerances. You are recieving too much information at once. We are decreasing the neural links by 25%.

Any luck with finding Aaron?

We find the information good...need more information...Why would one want to leave the collective..let's investigate deeper into the hive, one must give up one's individuality and share in the hive..what euphoria!!!
AOB has been located at the planet Venus in the company of Venusdaystar during their election parties...and he has been building a memorial for those who have lost their lives to the Bozo named "Bin Laden" we feel that his presence will rejoin the collective on his own accord

We are issuing you a cube ship. Bring Aaron back to the collective.

*taking the Borg Cube to the system of Venus...and entering high orbit over the planet*
We the Borg ask for our member "Aaron of Borg" to rejoin the collective.  His presence is nessisary to the hive.

Resistance is futile.

Insomnia here, hailing AOB. Urgent!..We are within transporter range! Do you wish to come aboard?

Attention all vessels in the sector!

Insomina takes full responsibility for the current state of mind exibited by Arronofborg, and we vow to defend him at all costs!

The new Arronofborg is a result of our revival efforts and requires further study. To turn him back over to the Collective would be a waste of scientific discovery.

We cannot allow that!

All defenses are at maximum! Weapons are ready!

Bottom line..........mess with him...mess with us........

Insomnia standing by........

We are Borg...

We are at odds with orders..

We are ordered to retrieve AOB....he refuses

We are ordered not to assimulate our allies, nor physically force an ally to give up someone or something to the collective

We are in delima...

We require direction

*Dingo1 starts howling in pain..and collapses, the cube he is on stops all activities.  The hive mind aboard
