Most internet service providers give their users a small amount of space for webpages... if you can figure out how to upload pictures to that space you can link to them that way. Or you could do what I do... store your photos at one of those free webspace providers (Tripod, Geocities, etc.). Some times they block links to files stored on their servers though. It would appear that your captaincy is merely ceremonial. You, like all others, default to "ciitzen". Only the omnipotent Creator of this board, a certain Emperor Orstio, is able to change those tags. You may request that he slap a "Captain" tag on you. I suspect he will, as he seems-- so far--to be a benevolent ruler. Title: Re: The Saga Continues.... The Voyage of the W.A.N. III Post by: dingo15068 on July 10, 2001, 10:48:00 PM David01,
Not to worry, here on the WAN III my cooking will be benign, only if things come to a point will I arm the burritoes. Here in our sector of space, where the bozo's will have a hard time invading, the weapons of gas destruction are under lock and key, with the Capt. and the rest of the weapons development team having the keys. If in case of an emergency, and access to the weapons is detained. In the freezer aboard this ship, you will find a sealed box called emergency weapons supply. These are mild weapons, under the code name of "Haggis" and "Chitlins" Just teleport them to the invading ship of bozo's ovens, and the smell there when the special weapons are arming themselves will problibly drive them away quickly without leaving a foul stench aboard our ship. Due to the burritoes being are primary source of "phew" the engines intakes have been modified and a secondary source of fuel is now in operations. As my planet is the source of power transmissions and plasma directions from our solar power unit, curtousy of the theories of V V of V. The power adaptors are working correctly, or if they are a little off, contact our chief engineer for assistance Title: "Captain" Post by: Orstio on July 11, 2001, 03:14:00 AM The title has been added, Captain. We reversed the polarity of the ship's Neutron Flux Capacitors. This has achieved the desired result of creating a pseudo-wormhole direct link between the WAN III and the WAN II, which is patrolling within BozoSpace. This allows instantaneous movement and communication between the ships, and parallel existence in both environments. The ship's technical crew has implemented barrier filters in the link. These SHOULD prevent either Bozo Flux radiation and actual Bozoidal Entities from passing across. We will monitor carefully. We do have a serious problem tho. As you know, the Whack-A-Nut fleet uses T.A.R.D.I.S. technology. The WAN III was cloned from quasi-organo samples of the WAN II. This has allowed the WAN III to have fulll TARDIS functionallity. However, we cannot guarantee long-term stability. The WAN II has a resident Time Lord, Ms. Calli Arcale, who provide TARDIS system control. She has yet to appear on the new ship. We will have to await her arrival. --- yale SFB Title: Time Lord Calli... Post by: davidf01 on July 11, 2001, 11:27:00 AM I'm guessing that her absence from this ship is a choice. She is quite loyal to the old ship. Now that it is mired in info-poop, and listing badly, I think she is re-doubling her efforts to save it. Admirable, really. But with the continued depletion of the life-saving bozone layer, prospects are bleak.
Anyway, I will be mainly absent from both ships today, unable even to hoist a drink in the bar. Work problems and now family commitments are detaining me back on Earth. I must now board my two-wheeled human-powered contraption and venture out. :rollin (http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif ):rollin :rollin (http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif ):rollin Title: David heading home to his igloo... Peter PS: Ok, ok, stop asking people... I will tell you why I got the black lion on yellow background as a personal picture under my name! No need to ask me again... (hint...) really... It is our "national" holliday in Flanders, the northeren Dutch-speaking part of belgium. The lion has been our flag since 11 juli 1302. In fact it was our flag before, but we know for certain it was painted on the shield of Pieter de Coninck in the famous battle of (yes) 11 juli 1302 against the French. It is called the "Guldensporenslag". I do not really know what the english term of "sporen" is. It is the rather sharp back-end of the boots of knights. It is also used by cowboys... PLC help me please? "Gulden" means gold, and "slag" means battle. The knights in the French army wore those gold "sporen" things, and we collected quite a lot of it I presume... ]D [img]http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=]D Oh yeah, in case anyone cares... we won! Title: Rear Admiral PLC, It is more serious than that... Post by: yales on July 11, 2001, 01:06:00 PM As you know, I am a MegaLipidCephaloid from... elsewhere.
One of our characteristics is that we are verispellis, which is Earth Latin for "Shape-Shifter". I discovered, while on duty as Bozo-Eliminator using our advanced LogicLaser, that when exposed to intense and unremitting Bozo-Flux (which Bozo's generate when under attack) that serious side-effects resulted. Just as the "Dark Side" is a constant temptation to a Jedi, the Bozo Radiation was stimulatiing my Shape-Shifting reflexes. As you recall, on more than one occasion I went Bozerk, and required treatment in the Whack-A-Nut I and II's sickbay, followed by R&R. Each time I was able to refocus and center. However, the accumulated exposure to Bozo Flux, coupled with a looming confrontation with a virulently malignant Bozoid, threatened PERMANENT devolution to a sub-life Bozo. I was at the very point of generating a withering blast of Bozo Flux when a random memory of the end of "Bridge on the River Kwai" flashed thru my mind. Just as happened to the Alex Guiness character, the scales fell from before my eyes (they are supposed to be across my cranium) and I stopped short, and never looked back. ===================================== BTW- Altho you are a completely different species than I am, you Siriuns not only have attractive plumage, but are also verispellis! Please be careful, in case your species also is sensitive. --- Spedrug spammert Yale S Title: Peter - They are called spurs Post by: yales on July 11, 2001, 01:14:00 PM (http://www.cowboygifts.com/catalog/sprh_small.jpg)

{a supercomputer phases into existence} {Calli rushes out, somewhat dishelved, still in those ridiculous Time Lord robes, complete with ludicrously high collar. She is carrying an assortment of circuitboards, components, and other fun things.} Callivestigathera, reporting for duty! Apologies for my lateness. There was a bozo breakout on the planet Manussa that had to be dealt with, and after that there was a truly embarrasing bozo breakout in the first-level chapterhouse at Arcale Academy. A group of higher-level students had decided to play a prank on some of the youngsters (barely 50 years old in some cases!) by persuading them that Gallifrey was actually shaped like a pyramid, and the sister planet Polarfrey was really an ancient god that had calcified. Rubbish. Total rubbish. Unfortunately, the young 'uns believed it a little too much, and it got out of hand. But it's sorted now. I believe Yale had requested access to TARDIS technology? I've got a demat circuit, a flux-induction loop, an artron activator, and a variety of Vortex navigation devices. What's needed at the moment? Title: Re: The Saga Continues.... Good job in BozoWashing the contamination from those young'ins! They are so easily infected. Thanks for upgrading ship's hardware. What a relief your here! I was merely doing emergency stand-in duty for you. We require a true TimeLord to manage the spacial/temporal TARDIS systems. So far you duties include (but are never limited to..) Ships Counselor, TARDIS SysOp, and Amazon Warrior Berserker. We also need an Improbability Drive mechanic. Please help recruit non-bozo cadets. --- yale Title: Umbrellas? Title: Made it...!!! Post by: archiebald on July 13, 2001, 08:27:00 AM As infopoop continues its downward spiral with the hapless space.com in tow, I just managed to get off her.
Now I am looking for passage away from bozoville, hoping that the WAN III may be the vessel for me. I am willing to work my passage, anything except washing up. Oh yes, and cleaning, I am a man after all and I don't have the necessary qualifications for either of those. Ooh, ah, yes, I nearly forgot, I don't do windows, and I don't do child minding. But other than thse, I'll do whatever...except sweeping floors, and swabbing decks. But, apart from those, I'm game for anything. But not shopping, okay, I really just can't hack it. So, is there any assignment for me?? Ships cat, maybe the sofa. Ok yes, plese let me be the sofa, I really could be good at that. How about a nice leather chesterfield. ------------------------------------------------------------ I see there's a funeral in town today. Yeah. Who died? I'm not sure, but I think it's the one in the coffin. Doctor, you told me I have a month to live and then you send me a bill for $1000! I can't pay that before the end of the month! Okay, you have six months to live. An old man is sitting on a park bench, sobbing, and a young man walks by and asks him what's wrong. And the old man says, "I'm married to a beautiful twenty-two-year-old woman." The young man says, "What's wrong with that?" And the old man says, "I forgot where I live!" The old lady walks up to the old man at the old age home and she says, "If you drop your pants I'll bet I can tell your age." So, the man drops his pants, and she says, "You're 83." You're right! How could you tell? You told me yesterday. This man is celebrating his 90th birthday at the nursing home and his friends decide to surprise him and they wheel in this big birthday cake and out pops a beautiful young woman who says, "Hi, I can give you some super sex!" And the old man says, "Well, I guess I'll take the soup. So give it to me straight, Doctor. I want to know the truth. Very well. Your husband is in terrible shape, and if you want him to live, you're going to have to make sure he's well-fed and comfortable and happy at all times and you're going to have to make love to him three times a day. Three times a day? Three times a day. (FOOTSTEPS, DOOR OPEN, CLOSE. FOOTSTEPS AND STOP) So what'd he say? He says you're going to die. What happened to you, Mr. Peebles? You look awful. Well, Doctor, you told me to take this medicine for three days, then skip a day, and that skipping wore me out. How much to have this tooth pulled? Ninety dollars. Ninety dollars for just a few minutes work? Well, I can do it slower if you like. So--- this man walks into the pharmacy and says, "Have you got cotton balls?" The pharmacist says, "What is this, a joke?" May I help you, sir? Yes---- I, uh----- well, this is sort of embarrassing, but --- I'm going out on a date tonight, and you know-- I need some, you know- You need some protection. Right. Small, medium, or large? Uhhhh. I guess, medium. Okay, that'll be $2.35 including tax. Tacks!!!! I thought they stayed on by themselves! Say, Doctor? What was wrong with that nun who just came running out of your office? She looked terribly pale. Well, I examined her, and told her she was pregnant. Is she? No, but it sure as hell cured her hiccups! A nun comes into the office of the mother superior and whispers, "Mother Superior, we --uh -- we have discovered a case of syphilis." Wonderful. I was getting tired of the Chablis. Doctor, every time I sneeze, I have an orgasm. Are you taking anything for it? Ground pepper! Doctor, for the last eight months, my husband has thought that he's a lawn mower. That's terrible. Why didn't you bring him in sooner? Because the neighbor just returned him this morning. What's wrong with your brother? He thinks he's a chicken, Doctor. Really. How long has he thought this? Three years. Three years! We would've brought him in sooner but we needed the eggs. Hello? Is this the state mental hospital? Yes, it is. I'd like to speak to Mr. Russell in room 27. One moment and I'll connect you........I'm sorry, Mr. Russell is not answering. Good. That means I must have really escaped then. A man walks into the psychiatrist's office with a cucumber up his nose, a carrot in his left ear and a banana in his right ear and he says, "What's the matter with me." The psychiatrist says, "You're not eating properly." =============================== LAWYERS Are you a lawyer? Yes. How much do you charge? A hundred dollars for four questions. Isn't that awfully expensive? Yes. What's your fourth question? I dated a lawyer for awhile -- until one time she told me, "Stop and/or I'll slap your face." So the lawyer is painting his house, when a hobo comes around and asks if he can do something to earn a few dollars, and the lawyer says, "Sure, take a can of this paint, and go around to the back of the house, and paint my porch." And the hobo does and fifteen minutes later he comes back and says that he's finished. The lawyer says, "Already?" And the hobo says, "Yeah, but it wasn't a Porsche, it was a Mercedes!" A lawyer had just undergone surgery, and as he came out of the anesthesia, he said, "Why are all the blinds drawn, doctor?" There's a big fire across the street and we didn't want you to wake up and think the operation was a failure. Post by: archiebald on July 14, 2001, 07:03:00 AM Getting his red cape caught on the heel of his yellow slingbacks, he nearly makes a stuntman-like entry, but pulls off a remarkable recovery only to take a step too far into the microphone and getting it firmly wedged in his left nostril for the duration of his pathetic act.
Relying on quality rather than Yales Quantity, he pulls a couple of bottomy jokes from the sequined pocket of his buttock spreading leotard. The First Little Johnny is late to school one day, so as he enters the classroom his teacher, a very prim and proper English lady, says loudly, "Where have you been Johnny?" "Poking fireworks up frog's arses, Miss Smithers", is the reply. Shocked by the language from a six year old, she corrects him, "Really, Johnny! - 'RECTUM'". "Wrecked 'em, Miss? Blew 'em to bits!!" And continuing the bottom theme; A man is trudging through the snow on a bitingly cold winter's day, when a local farmer on a horse and cart offers him a lift. The farmer is a dour chap with not much to say. Then after about 20 minutes the man sees the farmer lean forward, lift the horse's tail and insert his finger into the horse's rectum. He then raises his poopy finger and wipes it around his lips like a woman applying lipstick. Feeling a bit intimidated by the farmer he doesn't say anything. But another 20 minutes go by and the farmer does it again. Curiosity gets the better of him and he tentatively asks the farmer why he is doing it. The farmer gruffly replies,"This cold weather cracks my lips." So the man asks, a little incredulously, "So horse poo is good for the skin?" "Nah", says the farmer, "But is sure stops you licking your lips!" One sneeze later, and the microphone returns to its rightful abode, though it has to be said, the sound quality is never going to have that sharpness that it once had I thank you Archie Title: Encore! From under the seats at the back of the bar lounge, Archie, the master of toilet humor, opens one eye, peels his face from the highly adhesive carpet, belches and psyches himself up for his big moment. (http://pages.prodigy.net/orstio/_uimages/arch_big_port.gif) The large woolly like thing pressed against him, is just that - a large woolly sheep also sleeping off the effects of licking up a spilled pan galactic gargle blaster illegally sneaked aboard at the last shore leave. Noisily clearing his throat of the residue of last nights activities, he staggers upright, twice falling off his stiletto heeled, purple fishing waders before finally attaining some semblance of stability. Staggering toward the stage of the USS WAN III crew entertainment lounge, Archie has to tread carefully. Heaped across the floor like strings of sausages carelessly dropped, are the unconscious forms of his crew mates. Must have been one heck of a party. Being careful not to repeat his performance of yesterday with the microphone up the nostril, he chooses to approach it on all fours, like a stealthy, albeit totally non-coordinated, cat stalking it's prey. Finally reaching the microphone stand, he thankfully clasps the stem between his hands and gradually pulls himself up until he reaches the working end. He pulls it from his stand, it gives a fight but finally gives in causing the mesh (and other unknown substance) covered end to smash him in the nose. Drips of blood descend onto his once white shirt where they mingle with assorted dried fluids best left to the imagination. Suffice to say that it is only the stubborn under-stains that are in fact providing any tensile strength to the material. A permanently carried half glass of Cassiopeian hog whisky in one hand along with a half burnt cigarette, he leans into the microphone and begins… Goo' ev'nin' la-ies 'n gnl'men "Once upon a time a bear and a bunny rabbit were out together in the woods taking a poop. The bear asked the bunny, "Do you ever have a problem with poop getting on your fur?" The rabbit replied, "of course not!" So the bear grabbed the bunny and wiped his butt with him. I than' yu BEEEELLLCCCHHHH!! Archie then thunderously collapses to the stage floor. Tune in for the next episode, sometime whenever… Title: Re: The Saga Continues.... The Voyage of the W.A.N. The pseudo-wormhole portal links the WAN III here with the WAN II patrolling in BozoSpace at space.com. It takes the full output of the TARDIS on both ships to maintain the time and space coordination. The tuning is very sensitve to Bozo/Flux (as is some of our crew). Make very sure that you use the B/F decontamination sauna located at the midpoint of the portal before returning! I think Pete has set up a small coin-operated wet bar and an ATM down there. BTW, I am available here to provide any needed support in your search and destroy mission. --- yale Title: Re: Weapons and Drive Report. To: Captain PLC & Crew WAN III From: Mons, Senior Test Pilot RE: Results of deep space test of new weapons and drive systems. Weapons Test: New, long range, high yield, 'Ritos tested at locations: 20.840 X 1.897 X 781.002 and at locations 90.000 X 146.332 X 12.002. Massive destruction of base materials in system, evidence of microscopic black holes lasting .021 milliseconds. Total number of black hole findings 2,303,411 per square kilometer. Three 'Ritos were launched, one had a guidance malfunction and rocketed out of the target areas. Current position unknown. 07172001.8.51 Mons. Drive System Test: New Triton XXV engines fitted to test craft, Yogi. Engines engaged at 33.101 X 25.000 X 7.001. First test lasted 8.2 seconds and took ship 121.8 light years. Second test lasted 1 hour 45 minutes (I feel asleep at the wheel). Ship came to a stop 1,666,777.4 light years. Received speeding ticket while passing through the Ghastes system. Fine paid with trade of Bozo scalp I keep for sentimental reasons. 07172001.8.57 Mons Conclusion: Modifications made to weapons and drive systems are well over 100% efficient.
