Title: Old Maps - Old civilizations
Post by: Astronuc on November 09, 2008, 09:47:09 AM
I'm very interested in how the modern nations relate historically.

I stumble across and advertisement for an old map of Africa by Abraham Ortelius from 1579.

It's interesting how the world has changed.

What a Project that would be!  The maps are intriguing, to say the least...and the idea of comparing them through the various centuries...extremely exciting.  Will be very interested in hearing more should you pursue it.
