What is meant by prograde motion and retrograde motion?

prograde motion is the other way around than retrograde :p :p

For earth, prograde is the same way as earth's rotation (counterclockwise as seen from north)

You can look it  like that for everything: 'counterclockwise as seen from above' , but then you must first define 'above' :) :)
