OK, guys, we gotta semi-reconstruct what happened. When the Phoenix self-destructed, she seriously damaged spacetime. The end result was that the small WAN ship, now known as the Alpha-1, was stranded in the Andromeda Galaxy, a long long way from home. On board were myself, Kay, Dingo, Mrj WandaT, the wormguys, Ottawan, Labatt, Sarah90, and -- was it Snazee? And am I forgetting anyone?

We had major damage and some fires aboard. We were able to extinguish the fires with a little coaxing to the worms. Snazee also made some fine coffee substitute for them. (bribe)

Our comm was out, and in their enthusiasm, the worms beat out Dingo's stainless steel food bowl into a dish antenna. Kay jerry-rigged it, and I installed it on the hull.

We have had some slight skirmishes with the indigenous and hostile Gorts, which I don't recall too clearly so someone else should probably recount those. They took place during scavenging runs to get supplies and equipment.

Aaron of Borg had arrived, and was providing us assistance and a nice meal.

Somebody else take over from here.

Just a few points.  The Gorts have placed a bounty on our heads, minus the bodies.  The bounty is so high, every bountyhunter, and wannabe are after us.  We are going to be heading to Insomnia Outpost 7 for transport to the Milkyway Galaxy, and attempt to revive the WAN there before the Saeons are able to recover and strike back.  About 1000 years WAN time.  Other bits of information.  The Milkyway has been depleted of Etherium, the fuel for our engines.  The WAN government has disolved as factions within the galaxy split and hoarded precious reserves of Intersteller fuel.  The Milkyway galaxy is guarded by autonomous super-battle fortresses, as the result of an invasion by the Verdums.  Thes fortrasses will shoot at any ship heading towards the Milkyway under power, no matter what diamention the ship is in.  So we have to shut down all power emissions and drift in stasis for 100 years to sneak through without getting vaporised.
Oh, one last little point.  All WAN bases and computers have us declaired dead, so any attempt to access will result in immediate responce with force.  Our ship has a range of only 2000 light years with extra fuel cells attached, we are slow (Warp 4 is as high as it gets), we do not have much in the way of weapons, and thin shields.  So we will be arriving with short supplies, low fuel, and a hostile galaxy to reunite, with the clock slowly ticking, with bounty hunters looking for our heads, even accross galaxy.....we are talking a LOT of money.  (Hey it was not my fault, the Phoneix self destructed on her own to avoid capture.  It's not my fault that sub-space has been shattered for 1 billion light years, and take several centuries to heal.  And I am sorry that the Phoneix was in the middle of the richest sector of Gort space when she blew up, taking out many of the mining moons, and ultra-rich vacation planets of their elite, I was a bit busy trying to free Nemisis from the Saeons

Aaron my friend, it could be worse...The Saeons could have been left unchecked with the Phoneix in their grasp...Then they would have been able to easily take over the Milkyway...They woul dhave had the secret of Anti-Chasi

Hey, I was there too!   :) :)

I don't know if Snazee was aboard or off on a mission, but it was my coffee substitute. I was trying to talk the worms out of "helping" install the new antenna when we got beamed aboard the Gort ship, and I think we were about halfway through dinner...

PLC, in orfer to get you home, we still have to cross a mere 50 million light years.

Sarah, if you turn on your light, you will see you are floating in Cargo hold 1

No offense taken, PLC. Guess my tone didn't come across as I intended. I was just trying to get my $.02 in there...

Anyway, why don't I go and retrieve Sarah-droid from that cargo bay, and we'll continue on?  :) :)

It's a plan, Sunny. Let's do that. :) :)

Shall we close this thread and start an active forward-moving thread?
