Preps for nose-diving thru a black hole

Hey, Dingy, we probably need to do a little additional reinforcing of the shields, tighten 'em around the WAN III a bit. That oughta help reinforce the ship's structure. And make sure we have a hyperdimensional navcomp sensor upgrade, too, can ya?
And don't gimme any of that "Ah canna do it, Cappppptain. She'll not hold up!" or "Ah canna do it in tyyyyyme!" Your Scotty imitation isn't that good.
Besides, you know I'll just say, "We don't....HAVE...time, Dingy. We HAVE to BEAT the BOZOS." (hand gesticulations)

You're right. He needs to work on that impression. I have a few designs for some tight partial shield generators that I believe that we can get up and running in a few hours.
How much time to we have before the maneuver?

You got it boss! I'll get right on that! Just let me finish my rum and coke! Nothing like working with anti-matter with a buzz on!

If you can get a cloaking device to work, and be able to fire would be a huge benifit...I know, I know...I built that ship without tartus technology, and cloaking devices are not built to handle ships that size

How are the preparations coming, favorite puppy-dog of mine? We don't have long. I don't want to use this, necessarily, but am ready to, as a last resort.

Hey there! I finished up all the repairs and modifications over the weekend! We're all set to go! Whatever you do... don't push the red button. That's not something you want to get into!
