My apologies, sir, for not replying sooner. I have been in deep meditation over the problem of Labatt. How sas that a once valued Officer and Friend has become a dangerous rogue.
The raiders have been successful, but I hope to make them more so. If we can use Ottawan's medical technology to make some of our spies appear to be turned to Labatt's side, perhaps we can gather some intelligence. I have equipped several raiders with implanted memory chips so that they can download directly from Labett's computers. I have also given them training in some Ninja skills to help them avoid detection and capture. They await your orders, Sir.
sunspots out.

Capt. Sunspot...officially we do not have "raiders", we have "Unarmed trade ships" (please make sure our commanders on those ships, use the disquises for all of their weapondry)
There are reporters in the area. I have been approached by them as well. They seem to think that our expidetion into the Andromeda Galaxy, is more than a friendship and trade mission.

Freya, they are advancing upon our trading posts. Do not let them get any more than 30 percent. Use what ever means necessary.

Understood. Anything not strictly and obviously trade-related will be thoroughly diguised, and all personnel will be refreshed in their stealth training.

Cmd Ottawan,
Operations Free health is about to begin. All new from medical school personnel have arrived. This operation is aimed for systems who are neutral to our cause. We can expect opposition from the Verdan's, so all student medical personnel have been fully trained in non-lethal combat. So all of their sidearms, are of "non-lethal" rubber bullets. Make sure that they are issued the red/blue stripped magazines. Not to be confused with the Blue/Red stripped ultra-sonic teflan coated, depleted uranium, mercury filled explosive, dum-dum rounds. Your medical vessel the ISS Alantra should be ready for operations. My skit will provide security.
We are beginning covert operations to document the Verdan's mining operations. Intellegence sources have reported that they are strip-mining habital planets, and leaving toxic waste everywhere. Such documentation is to be sent to the Trade Delegates, to show officals on planets the Verdan's have made inroads on. Also forward this documentation to the IGSN. We need to sway the reporters about the operations, so they can informed all of the unaligned galaxies, what the Verdans really are about. It might help to have public support from them.
Cpt Sunspot. We are getting reports of sucessful operations by your "Unarmed Trade Ships" And have shipped several million tons of much needed processed ores to our hard-working industrial planets. Much of which their finished products are being shipped to our most needy planets, and some of our finished products are being sold here.

Understod Sir.
Complying with your orders.
Appreciate the "non-lethal" designation for medical personel!
Will confirm that medical vessel Alantra is ready before I proceed.
Documentation on strip mining will be forwarded when recieved.
As we are not a "ship of war" request Insomnian "Battleballs" for protection.
Assistant CMO Ottawan out.

Ottawan, the Majority of the Battleballs are on back-order, pending delivery of processed ore and other materials. I have dispatched the ISS Bozoblaster to provide you an escort

Cmd Ottawan, we might have a situation. Seems like the Blue/Red stripped magazines were issued instead of the Red/Blue stripped, and the new medical teams have already been dispatched

(WAN Outpost in high orbit of planet merga in the Ortis system.)
Science officer: Captain, we've detected an energy wave three hundred standard distance units away and closing.
Captain: Any idea what it is?
Science officer: No sir, it's losing strength as it gets closer.
Captain: Warp field?
Science officer: No, it's not a typical energy field created by a jump engine.
Captain: Raise shields half strength.
Engineering: Aye sir.
Science: Sir, take a look.
Captain: On screen.
(A holographic image of a sudden burst of light appears and then is gone. In it's place is a massive fleet of black painted starvessels)
Captain: Comm, hail.
Communications: Aye...... sir, no responce.
(Lasers begin to fly from the ships, the shield indicators begin to blare almost instantly)
Captain: ALL POWER TO SHIELDS AND WEAPONS, SCRAMBLE ALL FIGHTERS!!!
Communications: Sir, all communications are scrambled.
Captain: (Curses) Launch a message probe.
(Three more barrages hit and the station shudders violently)
Engineering: Sir, major decrompressions in three different quadrants. We can't survive another hit.
Captain: Why aren't the guns firing? Were are the fighters?
Engineering: We've lost elevator power, there taking the emergency access panels. It's taking forever.
Captain: Message probe message,"Merga station has been destroyed by.....
(Another barrages results in the massive explosion of the station. Shuttles begin to launch from the vessels toward the colony below. Out of the shuttles comes robotic warriors that begin to overrun the defences in minutes, after an hour the colony has been decimated and every supply store emptied. The ships dissapere in a fury of light. In the ruins of the command center is a holovid of a shadowed humanoid and it repeats the same message over and over in andromedian,"Andromeda will be freed from the evil ones")

Well I guess that's okay Sir!
And now more bad news from Nem!!
As always we will do our best, and I have informed my staff not to fire!
If there is any possible way to tie my hands further, I would appreciate a moments notice!
All medical staff have been informed that they "must not" fire their weapons.
As people who adhere to the "Hippocratic Oath", we do our best!
Keep testing us, and every "Galaxy" may be at risk!
Ottawan standing by.

(Three Vedron supply ships enter an andromedian trade planet orbit. Three missiles appear out of nowhere and strike the sides of each, two explode immediatly the third manages to survive the first hit. It tries to hail for help but it's comm has been scrambled. Another torpedo appears and flies toward the ship, it tries to dodge but is too badly damaged. It takes the full hit and is disentegrated. A torpedo then slams into the docking sleeve of the station and a warp is detected. The message sent to the station is,"No trade with the evil")

Something is up, I can sense it. Freya would have contacted me by now. Scan all dimensions for any abnormalities.
*This could be a WAN tactic*
They wouldn't have the courage to do so............
Hail Nemesis.
Nemesis, send me the data before the colony was destroyed.............now

Cmd Ottawan, youcan untie your hands, and send out orders to all medical staff. Use your firearms if attacked. We have just lost a makor transshipping point to hostile fire. Darn Verdans, we have done nothing to provoke such an attack, and several more of our trade deligations have disappeared without a trace
