Hear Ye, Hear Ye, the trial of the Logic Terrorist is about to commence:

The charges are as follows:

1.  Use of a biological weapon of mass illogic.  The weapon Bozoitus.

2. Attempted genicide of a race of logic.  (Attempt to destoy the WAN III Phoneix)

3.  Multiple invasions with hostile military force, resulting in the massive loss of life (even though the loss of life is Bozo's)

4.  Attempted use of time travel to modify history

5.  Additional charges as nessisary

I'm here in defence of my client Altair and as acting attorney i push to have these charges removed:

1. The WAN use a weapon of mass logic, our use of the illogic bombs were retalitory in nature.

2. The WAN attempted mass genocide of a race of illogic.

4. The WAN used the same tech to destroy our super-cruiser.

These charges are to be brought up against various captains:

Nerd, Laughi, Termina:
1. Use of a corporation to plunder, steal and sell wreckage in our systems.

2. Raiding shipping lanes.

3. Conspiracy to remove a native populace from an entire world.

4. Illegal use of stolen technology.

Dingo:
1. Mass murder of armed forces.

2. Mass murder of planetside civilians.

3. Mass murder of planetside civilians.

4. Instegating attacks on weaker forces for personal gain.

PLC:
1. Creating a force dedicated to the sole purpose of genocidal actions of a civilization and way of thought.

2. Creating armed forces who's actions may interfere with the development of a world.

Orstio:
1. Leading a genocidal force.

2. Harbouring a genocidal force.

3. Securing activities for a genocidal force.

Nemisis two:

1. Pirating activities.

2. Boarding enemy ships for the sole purpose of selling them on the black market.

3. Conspiring with Nerd, Termina, Laughi and the dracone empire to ensure trade status.

4. Economical crimes not mentioned.

5. Genocide of pilot forces.

i have some evidence that Laugi might want to look at prior to trial date.  It looks as though this whole battle was a set up to help Altair and his kind gain control over some smaller planets. By us blowing up the big planets they were out of his way, making it easier to take over the smaller ones.  I feel that all the "innocent bozo's" whose lifes were lost were lost due to Altair's cause, not by us.  Please look into this matter, I think you will find it will benefit the case.  

Also I have cooridnates and data that will provide you with the evidence to back this theory up!! I will get it together and have it to you by days end!!! If I can be of further assistance just let me know!!

(The biggest problem with having three characters is that people don't know whose who sometimes. I blame myself for bad characterization.)

Laugi: Its Laugi, La Jee. None of that Log ee crap. Anywho, I'm not the prosector, I'm not even with this jury. I don't see why I was brought into the charges, as I stopped the genocidal Termina, despite the fact that she continues her rampages to this day.

Termina: Quiet, Dracone. I was extracting justice! And look! I now have an empire, and you have a single ship and MAYBE a few obsolete, stripped-down Bozo craft. Pitiful.

Laugi: Pitiful? HA! Murderer of children! Destroyer of worlds! Those names PLEASE you, you sick, twisted FREAK!

Laugi and Termina continue their bickering as Nerd appears in the court room, still dressed in his spacer clothes.

Nerd57: I'm the prosecution, not Laugi. I'm preparing a dosier with evidence for the trial, collecting from individuals such as Snazee, Dingo, and some of my trader buddies. I am here to prove Altair guilty, beyond a reasonable doubt, of all charges listed above.

I see that the "defense" has set up charges against me.  I will adress those charges:

1.  Mass murder of armed forces...Hmmm, well concidering that I was defending my ship against an unprovoked attack, on the WAN Republic, I claim self defense, as I did not fire first, but only returned fire.  I always regreat the loss of life.

2.  Mass murder of a civilian population...Interesting charge, I recall having debozofied planets, but, there was no loss of life of a civilian population.  As for surgical strikes against legitament military targets, those were against an agressive attacking force.

3.  A second charge of mass murder of a civilian population...see charge 2.

4.  Instigating attacks on a weaker force for personnel gain..What a hilarious charge.  I only have just the 2 ships in my little fleet, The forces that have been attacking my few ships have been very numorous, I can not help it that my ships are better built ( I can not help it if my ships are basicly invulnerable, and armed with weapons capible of taking out whole fleets with one shot), and better captained (Well the Phoneix is an self aware, electronic intellegence of pure logic), than those ships attacking my small fleet. as for personnel gain, the laws of salvage specificly state that any ship that is abandoned, or otherwise unoccupied, by a intellegent life form found drifting in space, is concidered salvage, and the ship who salvages said drifting derelic, is sole owner of said salvage.  Every ship I have salvaged, did not have a living intelegence aboard them

Nerd: Ladies and Gentle-robots of the jury. We have before you, a criminal case like none other that has ever been tried. Its outcome will affect every being in the Universe. For this trial, this once in a life time trial, is the trial of Altair, bozo terrorist! This being made incredible attacks on the WAN, and in fact on all logical beings in the Universe. Robots, being based on logic and in fact a direct manifestation of it, should be equally horrified to learn that he attempted to spread viruses through computer networks. And not only that, he attempted biological warfare, to which some of our most trusted WAN crew members fell prey to. Make no mistake about this fiend; he is the most dangerous criminal in the Universe, and a threat to logic everywhere!
