Captain PLC...
The escape pods carrying the crew members are arriving after escaping from BozoSpace.
The ship is armed and thrusting.

Awaiting your orders.

Will work as needed, although I expect to be spending most of my time in the ship's lounge.

By the way, our illustrious captain was given keys to the ship, but she left them at home. I expect her to be taking the bridge soon.

:/ :/

Capitan PLC... I just can't open the door to the bridge with the keys you brought.

Does it have any significance that they are all stamped with the code: L.E.X.U.S.???

As chief cook and weapons officer, you should be reminded about the  strict prohibition against gas warfare.

Please give our intestines the respect they deserve. They are not merely delivery systems for your toxic gases...

It feels like we aren't going anywhere! And when I look at the picture of our illustrious ship that began this thread, I notice that the same background keeps repeating over and over. Either the universe is warped in on itself, or we are trapped in a low-budget cartoon... :eek :eek

I have it from the horse's mouth that the captain's arrival has been delayed for several reasons:

Quote:
*best friend staying at my house while
-getting a divorce
-selling farm
-rounding up horses, sheep, dogs, cats to move
-moving to CO
*storms clobbering area, knocking out power
*brother in law has seizure at wheel of car and crashes, having to be cut out of car, vehicle also carrying mother in law, niece, and nephew
*crank caller at 3am
End quote.

Let's just keep going in circles until she shows up.

Ship's boozing doctor reporting for duty, Cap'n.  Why, I even lifted...er, liberated a lotta medical equipment from the old WANII.  Wonder if anyone'll miss it?
