Captain, I have the following recommendations.
Formation of permanent Damage Control Crews for duty in bozo space. These could augment the Away teams.
Posting of a ships roster with assignments.
Request support from engineering to connect a flexible tube through the hull for bridge cleaning operations. (glances at feathers around command chair)
Back to bunk inspections...

The Borg have plenty of those. I could install them easily, with modifications to clean instead of assimilate. I could route them from my back room in enginerring...

eh...wha?...oh
Wouldn't it conserve ships power if we just connected it to the outside? All that wonderful vacum being wasted.

Kelvar1 , ask and ye shall receive! Failsafe partial vacuum ports installed. Please note that Fleet hull integrity protocols clearly state that no direct connections between pressurized spaces and external vacuum be made.
For this reason, we have installed a Buships Mk. XXI partial vacuum source with multiple hose connections to the bridge area. We have also provided connections in the Captain's quarters. This system utilizes a precharged vacuum accumulator to provide an isolated vacuum source which still takes advantage of hard exterior vacuum, but is failsafe to prevent inadvertent depressurization of crew spaces and the associated unpleasant physiological effects.
For detailed operational data, see Fleet equipment manual 65-58-25, available in the ship's database. In a nutshell, operators need to be aware that this system will provide a single standard diameter (1.0 Hoovers) hose with regulated vacuum in the 450 mm Hg range for approximately 30 minutes. Simultaneous use of multiple hoses is permitted, but will reduce operation duration proportionately. The system will automatically switch to recycle mode either after this run period has been reached or 90 seconds after the system is switched off by the user. During recycle, particulates will be removed and stored or dumped depending on Engineering Department and Captains orders. Ship's atmosphere components will be captured and cycled through normal Environmental Control System procedures. Duration of recycle period is approximately 60 minutes, during which the blue "Recycle" indicators adjacent to use points will be illuminated. The system cannot be used until the Recycle lights go out and the green "Eureka" indicators are displayed.
Please contact the Engineering department with comments or questions.

I've studied Fleet equipment manual 65-58-25 and have one question.
Can we trust this civilian engineer Rube Goldberg?

I have to agree with Kalvar. A posting of the crew and their titles and positions might come in handy when requesting something. Also, we might know where to find them.
Also, do we have a repair team? My test ship is a mess and needs some major work!

Dear dudes and dudettes (I just love that line),
I am afraid that I have something desturbing to report..
The WanII is under an attack!

"iwonderhowlonganamespacedotcomwi" has posted in our beloved ship...
I don't know what we can do, but to ignore that bozo... perhaps even lure him onto this board, and kick his behind...
Just thought you guys wanted to know! React as you see fit.
Peter

AGH! Rito incoming!! (drops to the ground) Wow! that thing missed me and when humming right into Pete's! Glad I'm not in there!
I know Space.com must be in chaos but my ship is sitting on the hanger bay in pieces after that run in with the Bozos last week. It's gonna be a while before Spacegirlie, Dingo and I can put it back together. Too bad that the testing lab doesn't have enough cake left in it's budget. We could have up-graded to the next class of test crafts! (Capt. PLC: hint, hint...) Well ... I'm headed back to the hanger bay!
Mons :rolleyes

Perhaps you should take a look in the bar... but watch out, it's kind of sticky in there...
Apparently you got the main rito out, but the part that exploded in the bar (or were there 2?) was quite devastating..

Weapons Lab here Capt: Do not worry too much about our Panda Wanda, she is only knocked out, and in suspended annimation. What the mess you see is not, I repeat Not Wanda, but "rito" sauce. The safety's for the "rito's" are set to 1 parsec minimum.
I still wonder who released "rito's" inside the ship. Nice manovering Capt.
Mon's......will get right to work on what is left of the test ship. Dang new launch tubes....We have to rebore them here.....Need a new supplier.
As for the "Testing budget"...we are in luck..... Since I am temporarily unemployed, I have grasioulsy hacked into the Bozo's bank accounts.....Lets drain their finances

Greetings! Your friendly neighborhood Time Lord has returned from BozoSpace, and it appears that one entity, a previously sensible kommanderkrill, appears to be taking up the flame of the Nameless Evil One (he of the Vacky Vorld of Velikovsky). He is posting in Space Science & Astronomy, under the subject heading "The Sun." He sounds suspiciously like the Nameless One, but magic_square has vouched for his true identity, so perhaps we are safe.
Requesting further advice from the captain.
*salutes smartly*
