I will hang low upon your request! I'll call back my troops and go to Petes!! If you need us, we'll be there, you know in disguise!

Is that...Darth Maul?? Strange. PLC, as I said, my transwarp conduit is closed, and for a long time before, I restricted my readings and postings to the WAN thread and a couple choice threads in Science Fiction. I will not go back, unless ordered.

Well, skipper, I succumbed to temptation last night when I saw that little weasel spam the WAN II thread, but have since returned to sanity. See the spam thread in the Refugee center for details.
I am going to bop over to bozospace just to check and see if my stealth curse has survived the night......

A bozo civil war of sorts. That could be used to our advantage.

Captain, with your permisson, I'd like to do some short range patrols around the WAN III, just to make sure we're okay here. After that, I'll take a cargo ship through the worm hole and see for myself what's happening over there.
Mons out.

Captain - Did you pull that Alert thread where vish and I were talking? Though it might have been moved but it seems to have disappeared.......
(Offers PLC hug and plume stroking - purely platonic) It's rough over there. I hate to say this to you of all people, but I believe the situation over there is only being exacerbated by our attempts at intervention. Right now, the Old Home is not a habitable environment for rational beings!
We must press on and grow this space into a powerhouse! No looking back!

And, no, we do NOT want a new captain. But if you need a vacation, we'll all understand. You know I will. not a day goes by that I don't miss walking out of my office and seeing .... ROCKETS! Forget the thread inquiry...

Yes PLC, if you need a vacation just assingn a temporary captian. Meanwhile I report from bozospace:
The spamer is trying to disguise a me, but he seems to be color blind and couldn't do it right. He is posting under bozowhitearcher screen name.
llovingo:
Although its easier to bump by post a new topic, its hampers the natural flow of other posts thus pushing the posts of other users even further.

Vacation acceptable, giving up is not. Hang in there. Keeping in touch through these boards, as much trouble as it seems, is probably doing more good than harm. We're here for you.

But Vish showed his colors, a true rational being, by immediately backpedaling and acknowledging that he leapt without thought. He had edited before I even had a chance to reply. All was cool, like I said in the last post there. I truly don't think we're likely to develop much real vitriol here. We know what we have and wish to preserve it!
I'm now off duty, so...
(Hugs Captain and leaves bridge)

Hey,I'm not the bad guy here, who tells people to delete or screw things!(Ok,I spat my bile in the captain's thread, but I edited it ASAP and it wasn't visible more than 1 mn!).
Now,there is a poll. We'll see the results and follow the Captain's decisions after review of the data (I'd say we need at least 30 voters to make it representative).
This message board had to become a safe haven,a stronghold of science and reason, and it is drowning into revenge and hate at spammers and moderators IN ANOTHER BOARD!!
So it is my right to launch a poll, and try to alter the course of our destiny.

The popular stereotype of the researcher is that of a skeptic and a pessimist. Nothing could be further from the truth! Scientists must be optimists at heart, in order to block out the incessant chorus of those who say "It cannot be done."

Vish - I called you a rational being, not a bad guy! PLC just said she deleted it cause she didn't want to upset people. I suspect we were doing our posts when she was elsewhere getting ready to delete.
PLC was stressed at the time of the deletion and didn't want to upset people. Pax!
