Some days,my humor reaches its base-level,so 2 things:
--What's so funny about OTHER ezboards and their realities, what's sooo goood???
--When referring to me to joke about,I'm no 'somebody':I've got a name,a fonction, and I stand proud...inside the Operations'center of the Section One.

"Next time,be more careful!Ok?"

Apollo the bagpipe player has something to say!!

Tell me if I'm crazy, but this is my plan:  We all don't post at bozo-space for 24 hours, repeat, not a single post from any of us for 24 hours.  We'd have to figure out a start and end time, and it may be hazardous, but I think we should see what happens if we leave all the bozos alone for a day.  See what happens.  They may get bored.  They certainly wouldn't have anyone to p*ss off.  I think even EzK would get bored arguing with the spammer.

Ok, I may be crazy.  I think we should give it a shot though, just to see how much damage can be done with all the sane people gone.  We may be surprised at what it accomplished.  We all may think that Apollo's a little too dehydrated to think clearly.  We may regret it.  But we've tried fighting and mailing those friendly people at thoughts@space.com to no avail for too long.  Let's just give it a shot though.

Or maybe not 24 hours.  Maybe just 12.  Or something like that.  Why don't we see if we can arrange a date/time.

[Oh, no, what have I gotten myself into?]

HEADS UP PEOPLE

I posted "Paging ufosarereallyreal", and I gave him a link to an online proxychecker, mentioning that if those guys could track him so easy, that the moderators can do the same...

It took the moderator the time to smoke 1 cigaret... (5 minutes) to delete my post...

SO, they are actually VERY active... in attacking others..

Peter

PS: Perhaps the spammer has the knowledge to become an admin? (just thinking out loud...)

Proxy checker?  I'm sorry, I'm almost completely computer-illiterate, could you please explain?

Is it a good idea to vent those ritos into space, where they might collide with innocents? Any way we could recycle or destroy them?

Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so.

(That's a sort of oath among my people.  Sort of like saying "oh, gods...")

Space and time!  Why does space.com attack the good guys and let the maniacs roam free?  It's infuriating!

It's times like these that I wish I was back on Gallifrey.  From there, I could set up a decent time loop and trap these bozos forevermore....

Sorry to repeat myself, but I suspect the moderators are the ones doing the spamming.

Its crazy, I know, but it would account for a number of anomalies.

I am thinking your way Archie, but ... remember that the mods were fired? hint-hint... Perhaps they held on to dome paswords?

proxy checker is a nice little webpage that tells you by use of a script what your IP is, what browser you are using, what your ISP, ... etc

Basically, I shows you that that kins of information is available to the owner of any site you surf to...

OR (as I was hoping to do), it shows that that info is also available for use by the admins and mods of BOZO space.

Peter

PS: moderation in less than 5 minutes is awfully quick... The rats have admin abilities... I am sure...

Gyro reporting form bozoland.[P]Have just returned and have news. First off, Archie's post about the Moderators being the spammers was just deleted (@8:30EST) and what is more, llovingo's post about the demise of space.com (not with a bang...) was thrown back to the top by yours truly. I did so by posting the letter 'A' a few hundred times with the word spam repeated numerous times at the end of the thread. That post was also deleted.[P]This is the latest news from bozoland. Gyro - report filed at 8:48am EST.

Archie's post is still there, I just bumped it up.  All of ufos posts to that thread are gone, though.

Archies post was definitely not there at the time posted above. Strange!

Archie has no postings of the last two days...

They are kicking our behinds...

If you look over there now at the topics in space.com, there are no readily recognizable senseless posts! It seems they are pretty busy over there today, deleting posts. For the first time in quite some time, I can actually look at the topics without shuddering at the amount of flame-based and senseless posts! It actually looks like a science forum! What the H-E-double hockey sticks is going on? Have they heard our cries for help?

Hey, maybe space.com admin is doing something about it... saw some "real time" deletions in there.  Only thing is they seemed to be deleting some legitimate threads as well.  Guess some of the good has to go out with the bad.

Whoa... sorry about the "big" pic... I can't seem to shake that long nosed space cadet off my back; I will try again.
