Hey peeps, Mercury, Venus, and Saturn are getting ready for a close grouping this coming Saturday nite (25th), with Saturn, and Venus 1.3 degrees apart, and Mercury only 1.5 degrees from Venus, as seen from the Americas, making for an interesting sight through binoculars. On Monday nite (27th), Mercury, and Venus will be only 0.1 degree apart, making for an interesting view through a telescope. You will have to catch this planetary gathering within a hour after sunset, before the planets get too close to the western horizon, which should be as free as possible from any obstructions, like buildings, trees, and other earthly objects. Good luck to all. Q
