Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Atka, a three year old artic wolf.

Quote
The Arctic Wolf (Canis lupus arctos), also called Tundra Wolf, Polar Wolf or White rough Wolf, is a mammal of the Canidae family, and a subspecies of the Gray Wolf. Arctic Wolves inhabit the Canadian Arctic and the northern parts of Greenland.

The center also has Grey and British Columbia wolves.

Here are some pictures of Atka

Have you read "Decade of the Wolf" by Gary Ferguson?  Its excellent, about the reintroduction of wolves to the Yellowstone ecosystem.
