Arctic Wolf and the Wolf Conservation Center

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Atka, a three year old artic wolf.

The Arctic Wolf (Canis lupus arctos), also called Tundra Wolf, Polar Wolf or White rough Wolf, is a mammal of the Canidae family, and a subspecies of the Gray Wolf. Arctic Wolves inhabit the Canadian Arctic and the northern parts of Greenland.

The center also has Grey and British Columbia wolves.
