When Tanya Andrews returned from a recent family holiday in Costa Rica, she had no idea she had brought back a gruesome souvenir.
A month later she developed an extremely painful lump on her head.

At first, she thought she had an abscess, but then it wriggled. .... http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/3236294.stm

I know Sarah, y'know there's one thing I hate about Australia....too many poisonous tropical spiders and snakes and other creepy crawlies.

As for the Tropics, Yikes.

Give me a nice temperate climate any day where the bugs get killed off every winter.

Qazaq,
How are you feeling?

Try this one then....

Quote
Ulcerative colitis is a disease of the intestine caused by the immune system over-reacting - in this disease the white blood cells attack the gut as though it's a foreign invader, making it bleed.
Mother-of-two, Anna Glanz, from Iowa, suffers from it and gets terrible cramps and sudden, intense attacks of diarrhoea.
The disease is incurable, but she is now taking part in an experimental trial run by Dr Joel Weinstock, a spedrug spammert in bowel disorders.
He's giving her worms to try to treat the disease.
