I was watching a TV program devoted to recycling, so I thought I'd start a thread on the subject.
Styrofoam is ubiquitous because its used in packaging for modern electronics - like computers, TVs, etc.
One company, Timbron International, has built itself up based on recycling - particularly polystyrene!
Since Timbron's introduction in 1996, we have endeavored to develop quality products that are built with the environment in mind. All of our products are produced utilizing materials that would otherwise be detrimental to our environment if treated as waste and disposed of by conventional means.
Timbron International employs a proprietary process that allows this material, mainly polystryene, to be safely and economically converted into a premium building material. This material is then extruded into Timbron's decorative interior moulding products.

That's great!
